PushFire Biography
Over the span of nearly a decade, the core of this band has been ceaselessly in pursuit of two goals: to make music that is raw, emotional, honest; and to put on a live show that shakes up even the most tentative concert goer. In a town like Clifton Springs, NY, where live music is scarce and the venues to advocate live music are practically non-existent, post-hardcore band PushFire have been diligently pushing toward the goal of a successful career as musicians for half a decade. Surviving line up changes; momentary break-ups; audiences that were initially apprehensive about such an atypical and emotional sound; and just about every other pitfall that can plague a band's rise toward success, as well personal growth, PushFire have maintained a dogged determination that have won unlikely fans, produced a sound that is uniquely and undeniably their own, and a line up that is the most concentrated collective the band has ever seen. Their music, in one way or another, canonizes each success and failure, as well as every hue of grey in between, via sublimely immense songs, laden with imagery and sonically charged aggression, focused into a concise stroke of the painter's brush. There is no excess for the sake of flair or otherwise This music is not just another moratorium to marketable cliches. This music is an homage to the clarity of a blank canvas: Limitless Potential. For over a decade, we have been ceaselessly in pursuit to make music that is raw, emotional, and honest.
