Five Ska

Fiveska was formed in early 2010 by five local musicians. The band has gone through many changes over the last year and we are now a six piece band working a tighter set for even more Ska fun! "Buster Beefburger" Gary Driver has fronted the band from the start, providing a vibrant front overflowing with charisma. Driving the Ska from the back we have Jake Hatter (Drums) and Nate Glynn (Bass) - both studying for BAhons in music in Cambridge - they have been playing together in several different outfits of varying genres but now they form the bedrock of the band from below. But not forgetting of course our most recent member Anne Burton on keys, who has been tickling the ivories in many many function bands professionally, as well as sawing up some electric violin (though not ska fiddle... yet) On Guitar we have Jon Beedle a highly experienced professional guitarist, he comes to us from numerous projects too extensive to list. He has the voice of Angel Gabriel, a black and white Fender Telecaster and he skanks like a rude boy. Joining him on the light side of the beat on Fog-horn, Jo Instone-Brewer, currently studying the hidden art of making and repairing woodwind instruments.
