Chris Culgin

Chris Culgin is a Canadian songwriter making words and sounds in country, roots, rock and roll music. He is inspired by danger and enjoys burning things like mouldy coats or snowmen. He lives in a shed located in the back yard of a Peterborough home and dreams of one day writing a huge hit in order to buy a bigger shed and install a better wood stove. His band, Matt on drums, Brandon on guitar, and Derek on bass share these high hopes as they hate rehearsing in the cold and want a more reliable and bigger tour van. Maybe even one with a DVD player to watch a Mighty Wind during long drives. Also… they hate sleeping on the side of the road in tents after a show. Despite the lack of a huge hit, the band has been on the road in one form or another since 2013 and have played festivals, bars, you name it, in most places of Canada. Culgin's second release, It's Only Time was released June 5th 2014 and was recorded in Toronto at the Lincoln County Social Club by John Dinsmore. It was produce by James Bunton and Chris Culgin.
