Dollar$hort

Dollar$hort is recording their first Rock/Reggae album, combining shredding guitar and reggae influences into a sound that will rock the California Coast, and take reggae into another world. With an exceptionally talented band backing him, singer Neko Gonzales adds a rasp that any rock singer would envy. Lead guitar solos fill their sound to create a truly incredible experience.
“Most bands try to sneak in originals with their set of mostly covers, to hide poor musicianship. We’re the opposite; in that we try to sneak our covers in with our set of originals; I like them so much more!” – Neko G.
For having only been a band since January of 2016, Dollar$hort has managed to create a sound that has the maturity of bands years older than them. Thunderous applause erupts after every live performance, a result of the amount of work these guys have put into their sound. “You guys are ready for big things” said the owner of Bunz Bar and Grill. “Keep at it and you’ll go far”.
Dollar$hort is first and foremost a live performing band. We live for our live performances, and treat each opportunity to play like it’s our last. We’ve devoted our lives to our craft, and we want to take as many people on the ride as possible.
