Rodents of Unusual Size Biography
No body knew what hit them when The Rodents were brought to life in 2004 in La Habra, California. Starting out, The Rodents infested backyard after backyard, gaining a following in the Punk Rock scene rapidly. Until 1 year later they built a good enough fan base and began playing local bars and small all age venues. The Rodents have been known for there high energy and fast shredding guitar and bass rifts while the drums push the tempo. To describe what The Rodents sound like would be impossible because there sound is so unique. Big Wheel magazine posted after the Rodents opened for the Misfits describing them as “a polished version of street punk”. Some fans have called them a cross between the Dead Kennedys and the Misfits. The only way to really know what The Rodents are all about is to see where they infest next and make sure you are there front and center. Although they mainly play shows in Orange County California they have been playing Las Vegas every summer since 2006, and make there way in to Los Angeles County frequently. Due to day Jobs, The Rodents have not been able to embark on many tours, but they make there way down the West Coast ever so often. 2010 was the release of there first full length Cd “Eighteen Pack” Which was well received by there fans. The Rodents of Unusual Size is well known for being a great Opening act for any national act. But can close out a show with the same intensity. Dont miss them when they come to a town near you. And yes the band name is from the movie "The Princess Brides". If you havent seen it go watch it today. Working Class Punk Rock
