Sally also offers commentary on the history behind the Carpenters’ music, as well as Karen Carpenter’s rise to fame and her sudden and tragic death at the age of thirty-two. Sally’s stunning vocals combined with state of the art video projection, vintage costumes, historical commentary, lovely arrangements and a live band lead by music director Bill Reed and featuring bassist Arthur DeQuasie and drummer Chanon Bernstein, will take you on an incredible journey into the world of the Carpenters.

Direct from Las Vegas, "Carpenters Legacy: A Re-creation of the 1976 UK Tour" stars Sally Olson as Karen Carpenter and pianist Ned Mills as Richard Carpenter, backed up by some of Las Vegas’ top musicians. It is THE definitive show celebrating the music and legacy of the famed brother-sister duo, featuring hits including “We’ve Only Just Begun”, “Close To You”, “Superstar”, Karen's drum feature and much more. The show opens with a tribute to Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass.
"Carpenters Legacy: A Christmas Portrait", starring Sally Olson as Karen Carpenter and Ned Mills as Richard Carpenter, takes the audience back in time to an old fashioned Christmas. The show recreates the nostalgia of the Carpenters' 1977 and 1978 Christmas TV Specials, in addition to the silly and endearing humor that will make you feel like a kid again! The show features the holiday classics "Merry Christmas, Darling", "Sleigh Ride", "The Christmas Song” and much more, and includes many of the Carpenters’ greatest hits.

The show has played to performing arts centers, cabarets spaces including the famed Triad Theater in NYC, and SOLD OUT showrooms in Las Vegas. "Carpenters Legacy" was featured at the Carpenters 50th Anniversary Celebration in Thousand Oaks, CA in April 2019. Olson is the first-ever and only Karen Carpenter tribute artist to perform with the world-renowned Las Vegas based review "Legends In Concert". The show has been nominated in five entertainment categories for the 2021 Best of Las Vegas/Las Vegas Review-Journal awards.
