WISCONSIN HIP HOP FEST ::FEATURING:: WebsterX Gerald Walker dumate CRASHprez Sincere Life ZED KENZO Broadway Muse w/ MC Mojamid A lot of things make Wisconsin great. We could write a novel about it. But we are a music venue, and showcasing the diverse musical artistry that comes pouring out of our state makes us more proud than any beer or cheese ever could. We are expanding our annual “Wisconsin Fest” series to include Metal in 2017, as well as Funk, Hip-Hop, Punk, and Bluegrass. Five nights dedicated to celebrating prolific Wisconsin artists in five unique genres that are all proud to call our state home. Take a chance on any of these nights and we promise you’ll be impressed by what you see and hear. Come out and show some love for the music that helps shape our culture. Also we will have BEER (and whiskey and other things)!

Gerald Walker Biography
Rapper-songwriter, Gerald Walker was born in Chicago and raised by his mother in Milwaukee, WI. Walker grew up heavily influenced by hip-hop, 90's R&B, jazz and gospel; which is conveyed through his sound. The Chicago up-and-comer has gained respect as one of the leading artists to come out of the Midwest. Since 2009, the young artist has released nine independent record label mixtapes and EPs under Milwaukee based marketing group, One Step at a Time Music (OSAT).
Walker has been featured in outlets such as: Billboard, Complex, URB Magazine, SOURCE Magazine, and 2dopeboyz.com. In 2011, Walker released one of his most successful mixtapes to-date, The Other Half of Letting Go. XXL Magazine endorsed, calling him, “an artist that hip-hop shouldn’t let go unnoticed.” By 2011, Walker began recording with Taylor Gang producer, Cardo, and toured with Interscope Recording artist, Yelawolf. Walker was also featured on the MTV'S Rapfix Live hosted by Sway Calloway.
In 2016 Walker completed a 14 city international headlining tour, “The Target World Tour,” in anticipation for the release of his album, TARGET. The sound Walker creates on the album is deeper, smoother, and more lyrically complex than his past albums.
This innovative sound not only showcases his artistic journey; but also launch Walker to the forefront of the music scene.
