Matt The Batt Biography
Matthew Jordaan a.k.a Matt The Batt is a Multi-Instrumentalist, Music Producer and Media Music Composer from South Africa. Upon Immigrating to the USA in 2007 - 2009, Matt discovered his passion for music in the sunny beaches of California. He went to the National School of the Arts in 2010 - 2012 to develop his craft and expand it further. Upon completion of grade 12 Matt was still hungry to learn more and enrolled into AFDA Johannesburg 2013 - 2015 and got his degree in BA Motion Picture Medium and his major was Media Music for film and television. Matt has a private home studio - Battcave - where he composes and produces original music and film scores. He works as a session musician, one man-band and acoustic looping artist by night and personal trainer by day. Matthew believes he was born with this passion for music and using whatever means to produce his art in hopes that you will relate and enjoy. Matts’ philosophy is being independent and that no record label should dictate what your art should sound like.
