Passion, groove and interconnection - three words, which define the world of Mike Robia. Despite being just 24 years old, the Canadian producer has already made his mark on his homeland, forging a unique path through the Montreal underground and beyond.
Bringing an unpretentious modern blend of house music to the table, Mike has cultivated an ever-growing following of kindred spirits. A burgeoning troop of dance-floor warriors, which shares with the producer an emotional bond - a connection spawned from his boundless enthusiasm and his distinct mix of four-to-the-floor aural delights.
His experience and skill behind the decks is unquestionable, winning him coveted slots at some of the best venues in Quebec. Mike is a resident at both Pointe-Calumet’s distinguished Beach Club and internationally renowned hotspot Circus Afterhours, while also performing regularly at Montréal’s New City Gas. His exploits to date have seen him share the stage with a variety of international acts including The Cube Guys, Prok N Fitch, My Digital Enemy, Vanilla Ace, Chocolate Puma, Belocca and many others.
The Montreal-based artist couples his craft as an ardent DJ with a respected studio prowess. His House and Deep House productions can be heard on many labels such as Mile End Records, Black Hole Recordings, Vamos Music and Recovery House. With an unparalleled devotion to music, the young Montréal has developed from both a classically trained piano player and skilled drummer to promising producer in the electronic domain – a talent fostered by renowned Toronto-based artist Adam K.
