Sarah Carpio

SARAH CARPIO an independent Mexican singer-songwriter was born September 25th in Puebla, Mexico. At the early age of 7 she began learning piano and by 12 she was already playing the guitar, drums and writing her own music. She grew up participating in Musical Theatre and Live concerts at churches, streets, and schools. Sarah has worked with several music artists as a songwriter, background vocal, and musician. She has been involved in many youth events taking a message of faith, hope and love with her very unique music style. Capturing people’s attention while crossing culture, language and ideology boundaries, with her fusion of music and lyrics that are full of energy and feeling. Sarah has taken her music through out Mexico, the United States, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Canada and Spain. In November of 2000 her Limited Edition EP “IRREAL” was released with 3 songs of her own inspiration. By June 2001, her first album “IMPREDECIBLE” recorded in Tijuana, Mexico; Produced by Jose Pizarro was released with 10 original songs. In 2004 Sara finished her Graphic Artist Degree allowing her to combine music with art, painting and photography, working with various artists to create an audiovisual impact in her artistic career. In September of 2008 her album “ELEMENTAL” which was recorded in Tijuana and Monterrey Mexico, produced by Valentin Castillo was released. With this album she made a Backpacking tour. Touring the West Coast of the United States, Canada and finishing her trip in New York. While in this tour she performed in several Bars, Pubs, Coffee Shops, Art Galleries, Markets, Parks and Urban events. Her latest album to be released is “AMOR ENTRE LINEAS”, produced by Tyler Logan and Tom Malkiewicz, recorded at the DEAM CENTER STUDIOS in Los Angeles, CA.
