DJ Sammy - Sam Huth Biography
DJ Sammy is undeniably one of the most talented DJ’s to emerge from the Gold Coast music scene, catching the eye of some of the industry's biggest names and promoters worldwide.
Sammy has had an ear for music from an early age, but he recalls the moment he heard Klass’ – “Where’s Your Head At” as first sparking the passion that would later fuel his DJ career. He purchased his first set of decks and began to teach himself and perfect his art. In 2010, Sammy performed to his first crowd at MP’s Nightclub on the Gold Coast, and secured a weekly residency within two months.
Fast forward to a little over 5 years later and his experimentation and self taught skills have allowed him to claim his place on major dancefloors all across the country from Family Nightclub, The Beat Megaclub, The Wickham Hotel, & Element Nightclub in Brisbane, through to Sin City, and Escape Bar & Club on the Gold Coast; and down to ARQ, Stonewall Hotel, The Midnight shift, & The Imperial Hotel in Sydney; as well as everywhere in between.
A main stayer of The Sydney Mardi Gras, & Brisbane Big Gay Day Main stage, and favourite of Ski Week New Zealand Sammy is no stranger to the festival crowds.
The dancefloor becomes body hugging when Sammy enters the booth, playing big room, electro house, house, the latest anthems, and anything with that deep satisfying bass. This DJ knows exactly how to drive a crowd into a frenzy! It is no surprise that this has earned him a growing army of supporters both locally and abroad.
