From Brat Pack teen idol to jazz crooner, Molly Ringwald proves she can do it all. Before she rejected Duckie in "Pretty in Pink", before she applied lipstick without her hands in "The Breakfast Club", before she completed a sex quiz in "Sixteen Candles", Ringwald was a singer. She began performing in her dad's jazz band at 3 years old, and hasn't stopped singing since, heavily influenced by such vocal legends as Ella Fitzgerald, Bessie Smith and Blossom Dearie. Taking the stage at Batavia Fine Arts Centre, Ringwald performs a sultry concert of jazz standards, plus numbers from her debut jazz album, "Except Sometimes".
