Hoity-Toity Biography

Front-woman Shelby Muniz, guitarist Aria Hurtado, bassist/backing vocalist Tana Snyder, and drummer Kelsey Caselden have mutated and formed into the ultimate all-girl band, and they're on a rock-n'-roll rampage throughout California! When the lights come up, Hoity-Toity bursts onto the stage with the energy of a Tex Avery cartoon and delivers a bombastic, unapologetic display of ferocious grrrl power. Hoity-Toity's music is an upbeat, tenacious mix of 70's punk rock/powerpop and modern alternative, combining aggressive rock riffs with catchy pop melodies and a groove that makes you want to bounce off the walls.

In 2015, Hoity~Toity was selected out of over 4,000 applicants to be one of 6 participants to play at the LA House of Blues for the Bringin’ Down the House 2015 showcase put on by the HOB Music Forward Foundation and LiveNation. In 2016, Hoity-Toity recorded their debut self-titled EP, which they released when they played the Pomona date of the 2016 Vans Warped Tour. The band has shared the stage with the likes of punk rock pioneer Alice Bag (The Bags), riot grrrl legend Alison Wolfe (Bratmobile, Partyline, Sex Stains), and glam rock icons Great White, as well as performing at such events as the We Give Thanks event held at the Honda Center (2015 & 2016), the 2016 LA Olympic Trials, the 2016 LA Marathon, and the SBD Air Fest on a stage made out of a Boeing 737.

"[Hoity-Totiy] has that 'modern-day riot girl' feel with a perpetual forward-moving and catchy musicality." —Shelby Padgett, GERM Magazine"
