Dorothy Chandler Pavilion
135 N. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012
Famed for its warm and interactive stage-free musical experience, "Le Salon de Musiques" features chamber music in an intimate environment -- the fifth floor of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. This season's third program showcases delightful romantic pieces for strings and piano by three Czech masters of composition -- Dvorak, Suk and Smetana. Hear them played by a talented trio of virtuosos, violinist Erik Arvinder, cellist Robert de Maine and pianist Adam Neiman. Le Salon de Musiques's musicologist, Dr. Kristi Brown-Montesano, will be on hand to introduce and give context to the works, and after the performance, you're invited to join the musicians for a Q&A, as well as a reception featuring champagne and a high-tea buffet.
