Into The Distance Entertainment presents Ten Thousand 'Night Is My Ally' single launch as part of the Killer Instincts Tour 2016, showcasing rising local talent from across Australia and New Zealand at venues along the East Coast of Australia.

The tour concludes Friday December 23rd at the Workers Club in Melbourne, Victoria with a killer line up featuring Ten Thousand, Winter Moon, The Deadlips and Anember.

Ten Thousand:
Since Tales from the Wasteland (© 2011 LMG), Ten Thousand have consistently delivered with confidence and grit whilst developing their spell-binding live shows, supporting an impressive list of home-grown talent such as Dead Letter Circus, The Living End, King of the North, Dallas Frasca and Massive.
A MusicOz nomination culminated in the band opening The Australian Independant Music Awards while also earning a nomination in the controversial, inaugural Cherry Awards. Via the festival circuit, they’ve shared bills with international heavyweights Aerosmith, Van Halen, Richie Ramone and Buckcherry.
They have enjoyed national and international commercial and independent radio-play and tracks from First Light make up the soundtrack to tattoo doco-show, Bondi Ink, screened in over 40 countries worldwide.
Now Ten Thousand are back out on the road with their new single ‘Night Is My Ally’, due out November 17th.

Winter Moon:
From humble beginnings as an acoustic duo, to the rolling thunder rock revue they now command, Winter Moon have marked their progress to date as anything but ordinary.
Summoning the gods of rock n’ roll with comparisons to Led Zeppelin and Blues Pills, then tempering it with the pop flourishes of The Black Keys and Fleetwood Mac, the band’s psychedelic blues rock squall is a force majeure. Frequently joined by guest musicians for live shows, the six piece’s wall of sound is topped off by the almighty soul howl of pint sized singer Milly Moon. Drawing comparisons to everyone from Aretha Franklin to Janis Joplin, Milly’s vocal prowess is the rallying cry of a band with their star on the rise.
Finally delivering on the promise of their legendary live shows, the band’s debut EP Lucid Dreaming serves up five songs of raucous blues pop rock, with fat bass grooves sliced up by searing guitar work and those striking vocals. ‘Me & The Devil’ sees the protagonist lamenting their symbiotic relationship with the bottle, while ‘The Sun is Gonna Come’ knocks out some of the most coruscating vocal lines ever laid down at Birdland Studios; and EP closer ‘Black Heart’ sees the band letting loose on a musical trip almost ten minutes in length, divining Jethro Tull and King Crimson with its chilling flute driven melody.

The Deadlips:
The Deadlips, formed in 2013 under the name Blind Thrills, consists of four members: Madi O’Shea (vocals), Rhys Brennan (guitar), Anthony Licciardi (bass), and Lucas Veliou (drums). After rebooting themselves at the beginning of 2015, the band have spent the past year preparing for the release of their debut EP Tides. They have filmed comprehensive music videos for two singles off the release, as well as an acoustic version of the first single, Drowning. They have gigged locally and toured nationally in support of Drowning and are currently promoting their second single Preaching to the Choir.
The Deadlips launched their debut EP Tides, at the Evelyn Hotel, Fitzroy in December 2015. Tides showcases the bands diversity across 5 completely different tracks. Their sound, derived from classic rock influences, could be described as Silverchair meets Wolfmother, with riffs that pack an old school punch, led by modern, powerful female vocals, which Andrew Brown from The Hard Rock Show describes as “some of the most unique vocals in the country”. Each listener will take something different from the EP, with no track being a clear favourite among fans, this in part being due to the range of genres that can be heard across the refreshing EP.

Anember:
ANEMBER are a 3 piece rock band hailing from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Comprising of Clinton Bush (guitars), Dylan Slatter (bass/vocals) and Phil Bromfield (drums).
ANEMBER began its earliest incarnation when these 3 high school friends started jamming together. In late 2007 the band finalised their line-up and formed ANEMBER.
ANEMBER have shared the stage with the likes of Cog, Karnivool, Sleep Parade, Trial Kennedy, Bushido, Hinge, Sydonia, Jika, A State of Flux, Alithia and many other great Australian bands.

Tickets on sale Monday October 24th from Oztix, the venue and the bands!
