Gabe Dixon  Over the past few years, Gabe Dixon changed almost everything. The Nashville-based troubadour focused on starting from scratch following the release of 2011’s One Spark. He parted ways with his longtime management and record label Concord Music Group, and he began feverishly penning ideas. However, the one thing that didn’t change was that honest, heartfelt approach to songwriting that countless fans fell in love with when he first emerged in 1999. David Ryan Harris Hello. Thanks for coming by. I’m David Ryan Harris.I was born in Chicago, raised in Atlanta, and I now live in Los Angeles. I was a singing child.  I'm told that I sang before I could talk.I wanted to be able to write my own songs so I experimented with a few instruments until I found the guitar; the one that fit. I was captivated upon hearing Son House, Robert Johnson, Prince, Stevie, Donny Hathaway, Aretha Franklin, Bad Brains, Fugazi, Sly & The Family Stone, Japan, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Bill Withers, Bob Dylan…..and they taught me to ignore preconceived notions about popular music, because music should have no ceilings, no colors, no lines.  Only possibilities. I have had the true pleasure of writing with, playing with, and/or producing many talented artists.  Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Santana, Marc Broussard, Guy Sebastian, India.Arie, and numerous others. Starting late Summer 2014, I will be releasing 3 EP's every 4 months starting with "Which Way Home" which will be released (insert date). My fourth album “Lightyears” which contains all three EP's will be available at live performances only starting mid August. It’s been a long time coming, and I am incredibly proud of this body of work. Hello. Sometimes I think of myself as a soul singer with a guitar, and sometimes I feel like I’m a guitarist who sings. Soulfully. Yes.The possibilities.
