Jeremy Fisher is a Canadian singer-songwriter, born and raised in Hamilton, ON. He was a member of the Hamilton All-Star Jazz Band for years, while attending Westdale SS (which is also the alma mater of Martin Short, Eugene Levy, Russ Jackson etc.).
Currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia and previously based on Vancouver Island, B.C. and in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A., Fisher has a Newfoundland connection; his mother is from the province, and now continues to live in Hamilton. Fisher's work is heavily influenced by folk and blues music, and his songs feature accompaniment by acoustic guitar, slide guitar and harmonica.
His newest album, Goodbye Blue Monday, was released in March by his Canadian record label, Aquarius Records. The homemade video he made for first single "Cigarette" has had over 1 million views online, thanks to sites like YouTube, among others. Fisher has also made videos for 2 other songs from this record, "Scar That Never Heals" and "Jolene", which you can find on various video sites everywhere.
