Bridgit Mendler Biography
When Los Angeles-based musician, producer, and actress Bridgit Mendler stepped back into the studio for the first time in four years, she knew it was going to feel different. Heartbreak, self-discovery, and fresh musical inspiration set her on a new path “to make something raw – something genuine”. Entwining pop with hip-hop, alternative R&B, indie rock, and even dancehall, Bridgit Mendler has emerged with a career-changing work. Her Fall 2016 EP "Nemesis" included hit singles “Atlantis” featuring Kaiydo, which VICE Noisey dubbed “a masterwork in craft and atmosphere”, and the rhythmically tugging “Do You Miss Me At All.”
Her latest single, "Diving," with RKCB was released on August 25th. This single followed two others in 2017, "Temperamental Love,” featuring Toronto-based rapper Devontée and "Can't Bring This Down", a duet with hip-hop artist Pell.
Bridgit Mendler is also a successful actress and has been tapped to topline the single-camera Fox comedy pilot THIN ICE from the New Girl creator Liz Meriwether. Previous to that, Bridgit starred as “Candace” on the hit NBC television series Undateable and as “Teddy Duncan” on Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie.
