The Losing Party

This is Folk City, Dubai's first (mini) Folk Festival. We, The Sound Gaarden team, decided to kick of this season with something new to the city. We had many names for this event, 'Folk It,' 'Folk You,' 'Folk Me,' and you catch the drift.. Eventually settled on Folk City because we feel it described a part of this city that we usually don't get to see. The line-up is strictly folk (or folk leaning):Jay AboJaye & FoeVandalyeZeroth Street OrchestraJosh MonteathThe show starts at 8pm but we open up at 7pm, so come in, have a bunch of drinks, get nice and loose, pick up merchanidise from us, talk to the team and see what we have in store for this event. Folk people are the bearers of oral tradition, so we want to make sure that everyone leaves with something to say about the festival.
