To My Dismay

To My Dismay began in the summer of 2007. It would have a revolving door of members for the first year. Once there was a solid foundation of musicianship, the band would release 'The Awakening' in the fall of 2008. To My Dismay would play many shows around Indiana, and embark on a few small mini tours in the surrounding states. They opened shows for a lot of notable acts such as: Emmure, War Of Ages, Oceano, Evergreen Terrace, For Today, as well as others. In the fall of 2009, the band decided to hang it up. Half the band would move on to form Feint, while the others would make Birth Of An Empire. Both bands had a decent run, but as is with most bands, the end was waiting in 2013. Now 7 years have passed, and like any old spirit that haunts the lands, To My Dismay has returned. With only a slight change in the lineup, the band is back better than ever. A highly creative quintet of musicians, that blends several different sub genres of heavier music, to create a sound that is distinctly their own.
