Additional details will be emailed to you after your ticket purchase to prepare you for our gay weekend away, including the lineup.
Shortly before the festival, we will email your essential guide to Gaytimes, which includes important information on what to pack (and what's not allowed), how to get to Gaytimes, transport options to the festival, maps, set times and more.
Keep those eyes peeled for our emails, and add our mailing address into your contacts or check your spam folder.

Gaytimes is a BYO event, but we do have our own bar on site in case you run out or fancy an espresso martini.
Pack your esky and bring your own alcohol. But remember no glass or fires are permitted.

While you can bring your own food, Gaytimes will also feature food trucks and coffee carts for guests to purchase good at their leisure.
Gaytimes will also have its own Gaytimes Canteen serving hot food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Think egg and bacon rolls and all day BBQ, which will help raise funds for local and LGBTIQ charities.
Gaytimes will have our own General Store selling things you need and forgot: Bags of ice, bottled water, soft drinks, snacks, sunscreen, toiletries and hygiene items, camping essentials and merchandise.

Gaytimes is presented by CLOSET, one of Melbourne's longest running and best loved queer parties.
Back in 2009, CLOSET began with two friends throwing a party and thinking a few hundred people would turn up and instead 1200 people showed up. The rest is history.
CLOSET is a monthly night from homosexuals and those who love them, so we welcome the whole rainbow of the LGBTIQ community and their friends.
Gaytimes is the Australia's first ever queer camping music festival.
Gaytimes welcomes sexually and gender diverse people from the whole LGBTIQ community.

Gaytimes is all about good times, so we will have a zero tolerance policy towards homophobia, transphobia, racism, antisocial behaviour and harassment.
Gaytimes also encourages our festival goers to drink responsibly, avoid prohibited drugs practice safe sex at all times and party safely with your friends.
Gaytimes is 18+, so please bring photo ID.
No glass permitted. (Your vehicle will be checked, and we will confiscate any glass bottles.)
No fire (including BBQs, gas bottles or cooking)
Gaytimes will offer full refunds only in the unlikely event the festival is cancelled.
Gaytimes does not condone scalpers, but name changes are permitted.

Our Mission - An Inclusive Festival
Gaytimes is a boutique music, arts and camping festival for the whole lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and gender diverse community.
We are an inclusive festival that welcomes all the colours of the rainbow, and their friends.
We pride ourselves on curating an eclectic and diverse lineup that represents people from a broad range of identities, backgrounds and music styles.
As a social enterprise, Gaytimes hopes to provide a platform for emerging queer and gender diverse artists to be seen and heard. As we get bigger, we want to do more.
Gaytimes isn't just about music, either. It is a weekend getaway of performance art, visual art, light projections, community, self-expression, sexuality, yoga and more.
We aim to create a safe space for LGTBIQ people to come together and be themselves.
In 2017, we're making a few changes to ensure everyone feels comfortable including: providing gender neutral toilets, extra camping areas, more volunteers and more live acts.
We also have a strict zero tolerance policy towards harassment and any anti-social, homophobic, transphobic or racist behaviour.
