Red Hawk Rising

In April 2016 Rich Wearz began song writing before asking fellow musician and friend Derin Adebiyi to write lyrics and put some vocals down. A few songs later Red Hawk Rising was formed and by November 16th 2016 after Tim Churchman (drums) and Steve Parsons (bass) joined, we performed our first live show at Alleycat Club on London’s infamous Denmark Street.

We were asked to join Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Dead Daisies, Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent) on his UK tour in February 2017 and we were awarded ‘Best New Band of 2017’ by The Carouser magazine, voted by the public.

We have gigged throughout the UK during 2017 and have an album ready to take to the studio. We are expecting to go to the next level in 2018 and hit the Festivals and play more outside of London to build our following.

We are currently hosting the event Big Red Rising in one on London’s most popular and certainly the most busy rock bar/live music venue, The Big Red where we perform with new and old original rock bands right across the UK.
