Naevus

There is more than one band called Naevus.

1. A London-based Welsh duo formed in 1998 by Lloyd James and Joanne Owen, later including band members John Murphy (of Associates, KnifeLadder, etc.) and Greg Ferrari (of Womb). Often categorised as part of the 'neo-folk' genre, their songs have little in common with other acts in that area, bar the use of acoustic guitar. More obvious similarities can be found with groups such as Swans, Luxuria, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds and David E. Williams.

2. A German doom-metal band that existed in the mid-1990s, disbanding in 1998.
