Pure Remedy

Pure Remedy is a four-piece alternative rock band formed in Chicago, Illinois, in early summer 2008. Four musicians with none other than divine nonjudgmental passion, heart filled collages, and soulful colors of chimes by surroundings. Along with the unification and brotherhood, the past roots and journeys of every member intersect; make this band test new heights and transformations. Inspired by all of life and hardships including loved one's health, and continuity of growth in learning from every sound... Pure Remedy lives and plays for those who have struggled, those who have been victimized, and those who would rather be unified in the cause for peace and the sanctuary for the discovery and freedom of creativity! Pure Remedy always looks forward across all lands and skies adapting to the differences in chaotic, optimistic, eccentrically familiar and unfamiliar tones of music. Acquiring strengths of the transformation of sound, to blend in their faith and fight, in all of their positive energy like magicians. - Summer of 2008, Pure Remedy first official show at UIC Lofts, Chicago West Loop. - Fall of 2009, Pure Remedy unofficially makes a few copies of unmastered, (due to recording studio accidentally erased hardrive) LP album "Watered In the Cellar" from which mosaically loved songs like "Of a Child", the "Others", "Color Me" and "Right Where We Stay" are created and asked more by the public and friends. - Fall of 2010, Pure Remedy advances in contest for Q101.fm radio station and lands/records single track "Found"(Into My Heart); recorded/engineered and mastered by Rob Ruccia @ Uptown Recording Studios. - Summer of 2011, Pure Remedy uses catalyst song "Found"(Into My Heart) to begin recording 16 track album titled "Remedio" for estimated completeness and arrival in 2013. Four track recording starts in Pilsen @ Blue Door Studios with engineer Brad Woods. Currently being engineered by Daniel Das Arteaga from Das.fm @ CarterCo Recording Studios.
