Rendall Memorial Presbyterian Church
59 W 137th St, New York, NY 10037
Described as "a commanding singer ... steeped in tradition ... but with modern sensibilities" by "DownBeat Magazine", jazz vocalist Milton Suggs found his musical calling at a very young age. After achieving a masters in jazz studies from DePaul University, Suggs has slowly risen in the Chicago music scene as a smooth and strong R&B-influenced musician. Carrying the legacy of his father, the equally talented Milton Suggs Sr., he's gone on to record with notable musicians like Sean Jones, Vincent Gardner and Wynton Marsalis. The Harlem Jazz Box hosts the now New-York based artist at the Rendall Memorial Presbyterian Church.
