Winterfalle is dark story-led folk music by Jerseyman Sam Falle. December 6th sees the launch of his debut record 'Into The Green'. Sam looks back to a time when we thought we were invincible, when we were actually at our most vulnerable. In that world, drink-drivers bomb through green lanes, clubbers stalk sticky dancefloors,
friends wander into the road: clearly, it's dangerous business growing up.

Sam sings in his distinctive baritone over a pocket orchestra of strings, guitars, keys and samples that
take cues from the sparse finger-style of early Elliott Smith, emo heavyweights Brand New and the
acoustic-pummelling flamenco of the Gipsy Kings. Some songs are widescreen laments that break your
heart - others are wryly witty bits of social commentary - all of them demand your attention.

For this very special launch show, Sam will be performing an unmissable full-band set. Support comes from rising folk star Kitty Macfarlane and one of the first live sets from incredible new artist Alex Alex. Tickets are split over two tiers, with £5 entry for the gig, or £10 securing both gig entry and a signed copy of the 'Into The Green' CD.
