La Plebe Biography
La Plebe is a San Francisco Bay Area-based latin punk ska band known for energetic live shows . In 2005, they released a CD titled Entre Cerveza, Ritmo, Y Emocion produced by Faith No More's Billy Gould on the Desarme SF label. The debut is available as a free download on the band's website and features 7 originals plus a rousing spanglish cover of Ewan MacColl's "Dirty Old Town", whose chorus was previously made famous by The Pogues. La Plebe followed this up in 2007 with Hasta La Muerte on Kool Arrow in the E.U and the better distributed Red Scare imprint in the U.S which offered the band exposure online download sites such as via iTunes and eMusic .
