ENGLISH--> Ruud Fieten is a 27-year old songwriter from Meppel, The Netherlands. Blessed with a warm, intriguing voice he sings his captivating folk tunes. Some of the songs are small and lyric driven, some loud and energetic, but all of them raw and meaningful. Fieten’s first recordings came out in 2015 as a self-released EP called IN ORBIT which was praised by alternative music blogs and reviewers. Many in The Netherlands were introduced to Ruud Fieten via his appearance on national television in ‘De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland’, support shows for big Dutch acts like Tangarine and A Balladeer and playing well known Dutch festivals like Eurosonic and Popronde. Ruud has been winning over audiences through powerful performances, taking the stage alone with his guitars, always trying to make a real connection with the listener. De EP werd goed ontvangen en ontving zelfs een aantal vijf sterren recensies van alternatieve muziekblogs. Na de release speelde Ruud in 2016 op Eurosonic en was hij één van de 25 meest geboekte acts van de Popronde, waarmee hij in het najaar maar liefst 26 shows speelde in 19 steden.
