Habischman Biography

When you think of electronic labels that curate the modern scene there are a few poignant names that always stand tall. When you think of Get Physical, Global Underground, Moda Black, Viva and Noir Music you immediately conjure up artists known across the world. Enter Habischman, an Iranian producer that has appeared on all of the above and is fast making his name as a major artist to watch. Mark that with a solid string of profile 2017 European events, including Space In The Park, Ibiza through to Berlin’s jewel, Harry Klein, you will soon be witnessing Habischman’s meteoric rise over the coming summer months. Already in the hot hands of key influencers and earmarked as a sure-fire summer hit, Hot Since 82 has recently remixed Habischman’s latest production for his own label, Knee Deep In Sound. “Closure” is a smooth, yet relentless club track aimed directly at the dance-floor that fluently follows on from their last collaboration that achieved pinnacle Beatport Deep House chart success, before gaining industry accolades and laudable remix from the iconic Dubfire (due for compilation release in 2017). Industry giants Pete Tong, Nicole Moudaber and John Digweed are amongst Habischman’s ardent supporters, recognising his accomplished and unique sound; with his tapestry of tones on regular rotation on BBC Radio 1, In The Mood and Transitions Radio shows to name only a few. As if Habischman couldn’t get much hotter, he has released on Booka Shades significant Blaufeld Label and his Panorama edit of M.A.N.D.Y & Booka Shade ‘ Superman’ still commands dancefloors worldwide. This summer you‘ll be hearing hints of Habischman everywhere as his Knee Deep In Sound gathers momentum alongside indelible remixes of his tracks from hot underground favourites including Yousef and before his sleeping giant on Pirupa’s Nonstop label overtakes the airwaves. Since cutting his teeth at the Red Bull Music Academy in 2008, studying alongside the likes of Jamie Woon and Septa, Habischman fast developed a considerable standing amongst his peers, with a succinct choice in sound and dominant drive to succeed. His talent has been compared to electricity, instantly igniting clubs, shining above the collective halo of many of clublands long-term steadfast figures. Fast forward to 2016, taking to the booth at London’s legendary Ministry Of Sound alongside Dave Seaman, stamped a lasting impression on both Habischman and the capitals seasoned clubbers and immediately spring-boarded him further onto the international circuit, setting up camp in Berlin where he honed his studio skills and played all the notable undergound clubs . This isn’t about popularity in a commercial sense, but all about the music, and that as they say, is the perfect vehicle for hype that’s not only well deserved, but one that makes an ongoing impact upon the industry long term.
