The After Effect

-From Muskegon, Michigan to Nashville, Tennessee- Michigan has enjoyed a long and stirring rock 'n' roll tradition. From the time the seminal guitar crunch of bands like KISS put this vibrant state on the rock 'n' roll map, Michigan has played an integral role in the ongoing evolution of contemporary music. Now a young Nashville, Tennessee-based hard rock band named The After Effect appears ready, willing, and more-than-able to add another exciting chapter to this town's noble history book. As proven throughout their first full length record, ROCK N' ROLL, vocalist/guitarist Alex Pearson, guitarist Matt Fairfield, bassist Ryan Slagle, and drummer John Swainston have fully absorbed influences ranging from the classic sounds of Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin to the soulful stirrings of Joe Bonamassa to the likes of Motley Crue and have created their own brand of rock n' roll. A blend of Bold, strident guitar power, blues-driven vocal fury, and cutting-edge rhythmic mayhem is The After Effect's music that stands head and shoulders above today's field of cookie-cutter rock practitioners. The four long time friends, or brothers as they say, created The After Effect in 2010 with fire and inspiration to lead the Rock revival for their generation. Since their formation, the band released the head banging OVERDRIVE EP in 2014, which featured tracks like "HOT & DANGEROUS" and "HASTE THE DAY", and followed with the release of their first LP titled ROCK N' ROLL in 2015 which featured more groove in the upbeat sleaze of "SWEET STUFF" and "HUSTLER". The band has been seen sharing the stage with acts like Wayland, Jackyl, Black Star Riders (The New THIN LIZZY), and Autograph.
