For country music trio Sister C, music literally runs in the family. Made up of real-life sisters Cirby, Carli, and Celbi Manchaca, these three young women blend their love of traditional country with an edgy twist for a unique and alternative style that gives their music a signature sound. Thanks to a musical upbringing inspired by their singer-songwriter father, Sister C became equally comfortable onstage as they were in the studio. After gaining a sizable following during their time on The X Factor, the sisters packed up everything and moved to Music City to chase their dreams. Three years later, Nashville has provided them the opportunity to expand the boundaries of their music, which is heavily influenced by country music greats like Dixie Chicks, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Willie Nelson, George Strait, and Lee Ann Womack. Sister C is a force to be reckoned with in country music. Each sister brings her individual talents, distinct voice, and personality to the group. Cirby's natural energy and strong personality provides a perfect foil to Carli's instinctive ability to push the limits lyrically and Celbi's prowess on guitar. With all of their combined, organic talent, Sister C is a breath of fresh air. Regardless of whether they’re in the studio or onstage, when Cirby, Carli, and Celbi are together, magic is in the air. What truly sets Sister C apart is their ability to create an engaging experience for the listener. The Manchaca sisters pride themselves on writing relatable songs, focusing on real-life situations and being honest. That became evident with the success of their video series, the Blue Room Sessions. Earlier this year, their Blue Room Session original “Even A Broken Heart Beats” received share after share, setting a high bar with over 2.4 million people reached on Facebook. In Spring 2016, Sister C released their debut EP, Demo Sessions, Vol. 1. The five song collection includes single, "Faint of Heart," which was produced by Multi-Platinum selling country singer Lee Brice and Nashville hit maker Jon Stone (Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts) and already has been streamed over half a million times. “Faint of Heart” found its home on country radio as a featured Highway Find on Sirius XM’s The Highway, reaching number 12 on the station’s Hot 45 chart. Shortly after, reporting station KSCS in Dallas added it into power rotation – a huge success for the trio. Demo Sessions, Vol. 1 is a diverse release that showcases Sister C’s vocal strengths and natural songwriting abilities - talents that have earned them accolades in staple country-music publications like Rolling Stone Country, Nash Country Daily, The Boot, Taste of Country, Sounds Like Nashville and Nashville Gab as a ‘Group to Watch in 2016.’ Their powerhouse vocal and songwriting chops have landed the sisters on the proverbial country music map and after listening to their latest Demo Sessions, Vol 2 it will be clear why Sister C is ready to take Nashville by storm. The latest release from Sister C had the sisters writing with some of the biggest and brightest songwriters in Nashville including Mark Bright (Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, Martina McBride), Lizzy McAvoy (Jo Dee Messina, Thompson Square), Tiffany Goss (Clay Walker) and the EP was produced by Simon Reid. Demo Sessions, Vol. 2 includes demo versions of some of Sister C’s most popular acoustic “Blue Room Sessions” of “Cinderella” that has been viewed over 43K times, “Take Me Home” that has been viewed over 38K times and “ChainSmoker” that has been viewed over 26K times. Sister C is currently performing shows around Nashville and have several lined up around the rest of the country through the end of the year.
