Uke Fest Concert night turns 5!!!One big night, one little instrument.... A night dedicated to all things ukulele. A variety concert featuring the best and brightest Uke players in town.The annual Uke fest concert was started as a celebration of Twin Cities Uke players 5 years ago. It was such a success that the following year it was held again and this time London born ukulele player turned organizer, Katy Vernon, decided to make it a fundraiser for Arc Greater Twin Cities.Inspired by her brother Peter and a song she wrote about him she reached out to connect with Arc GTC and make the evening not just about music and fun, but to also have an impact. This year marks the 5th year and the party is moving to Saint Paul.Friday, October 14th. 8:30-midnight.All ages, free event. ($10 suggested donation)Proceeds benefit the Arc GTC and the Minnesota Music Coalition.This is a variety concert show. A group singalong is highly encouraged. Ukes welcome.

Hot Date Biography
Hot Date is a high energy 5 piece party rock dance cover band performing all of the hits from the 60's to today. Putting a modern twist on your favorite oldies and keeping current with the newest dance and pop rock hits, Hot Date is sure to keep you on the dance floor all night. The band was formed in 2009, formally known as Occasional Sundays, and features both male and female vocals as well as a versatile group of seasoned musicians. The bands first gig started off with a bang when they were hired by Oakley to play the grand opening of their new store at the South Street Seaport in Manhattan. Since then they have been playing bars, nightclubs, festivals, weddings, engagement parties, and private parties around the North East area. Their eclectic song list has something that everyone will enjoy and they strive to make your night out one to remember. Whether it’s a nightclub, wedding, or private party, Hot Date will keep you entertained all night long!
