Bandintexas

BANDINTEXAS are a top of the line band from Sydney's inner west. We believe in world peace, gender equality and freedom to be who you want. More importantly Bandintexas sometimes misnamed Banned in Texas have a mission to make people smile. We write music that is fun. Bandintexas released their Debut EP "The ABCD-EP" in early 2014 and follow up Single The Scientist in 2015. At least 17 bought the EP and gave it a 4.7 Star rating. The band are planning the release of their debut album in 2017 and hope at least 32 people listen to it. In recent times bandintexas have shared the stage with some of their faves like The Bellrays, Dallas Frasca, Superjesus, Richie Ramone, Superbest Friends, Camp Cope and the Baby Animals. BANDINTEXAS have a raucous onstage energy that is reminiscent of the grrl bands that ruled the early nineties. We are not pretty but our music will make you feel pretty good. *BANDINTEXAS are not a band in Texas nor are they banned in Texas but there is a story to the name and they’d love to tell you sometime.
