BlackNight

Michigan-born BLACKNIGHT is half of Chicago dreamhop duo GRiMMS & BLACKNIGHT (G&B), producing pulsing, dreamy, 'woozy' beats amidst rock-based guitar playing. G&B completed a US tour in 2016 and is working with Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine) on their second full-length through 2018. BLACKNIGHT released a bucket-full of singles since 2010, between Michigan and Chicago, including early versions of select G&B songs.
An LP titled Hidin' Out was made available online in November of 2016 including many previously unreleased tracks which can also be found on college (and pirate) radio stations, jukeboxes in ~hole-in-the-wall~ bars and at local aka DIY record shops across the Midwest.
