Brimming with sophistication, wit and intelligence, the music of Cole Porter is among the most beloved of the 20th century. Unique among composers -- he was an equally talented lyricist -- Porter is known for such classics as "It's De-Lovely," "Begin the Beguine," "Just One of Those Things," "I Love Paris," "So in Love" and many more. Now, Chicago's Auditorium Theatre celebrates the 125th birthday of the man renowned for writing some of the cleverest, funniest, most romantic songs ever penned for stage and screen. This musical homage features many of Porter's most beloved songs and some lesser-known gems. Directed by Chicago's favorite cabaret singer, Joan Curto, these timeless tunes are performed by some of the very best musicians and singers in the city.
