Vikingore

The band, born in Winter 2005, comes from the beautiful city of Seville, in Spain. Their style mixes Death Metal with the Viking atmosphere in their more aggressive form. During the first years, the band gains success and fame in their hometown with their vast but already brutal sound; a sound expressed in the band’s two demos, recorded with a very low budget, but which helped them to get their first opportunities to accompany some national and international bands such as Runic, the Brazilians Krisium or Rotting Christ from Greece. 2012 was THE YEAR for Vikingore: they got to be the supporting band for huge metal exponents such as Korpiklaani, Trollfest, and nothing other than Amon Amarth, the biggest example of their kind of metal and one of the main inspiration sources for Vikingore. But the most important fact, which meant the last step to the band’s maturity, was the signing of a contract with the Austrian label Noisehead Records during the summer. Their first album was recorded in December, 2012 at Noisehead Studio in Kohfidisch, Austria, with the music producer Mario Jezik. The album was released on March, 15th 2013 with the powerful Forgotten by the Gods debut single. This status boost meant the opportunity to share the stage with huge bands such as Sodom, Ensiferum, Avulsed, Angelus Apatrida, Death Angel, and many more. At present, Vikingore are totally dedicated to the new songs’ composition for their second album which will be released during the Spring of 2016 and will contain a much more extreme and technical sound. The album single will be Draugr: Back from The Grave, that could be heard by the crowd in some past events and that will be presented with a high quality video clip recorded by the Andalusian company Sur 5D. Furthermore, they have been touring with the Catalonian band Northland, which gave Vikingore the opportunity to gain new fans and to visit some Spanish cities for the first time. They have also been part of some festivals like Santa Maria Summer Fest in Portugal or the brand new Spanish festivals: Acordes de Rock or the Iberian Warriors Fest headlined by the Germans Suidakra.
