The Virtues

When music from the pop shop will not do, get your ears around an atmospheric but driven wave of sound fusing some of the more alternative rock buzz. The Virtues, from the depths of Suffolk, are an alternative rock original four piece band doing solely what they love to do. Please let me introduce them.... KYROS: Kyros is a mysterious soul, being a smith can do that to you, but nevertheless the lead singer/lead guitarist with his heart in each note of music will blow the dust off your coat while sending you on a psychedelic space echo, from the dark side of the moon. With inspiration from The Pixies and The Verve, who wouldn't like the trip of a lifetime? Callum: Callum on the bass is like a monkey throwing shit on a canvas and it featuring in Tate Modern. When he is on the bass nothing will stop him from moving his feet. He is a Mad man who loves a powerful D. A Guitarist cum Bass player who was previously in Tradition - He has some Bacon Banging Bass line Beauties - With inspiration from Alexisonfire, Glassjaw and Black Flag to name a few. We will need NIN to pin him down! James: James, AKA - DW, The Ruverb delayer who is at every gig you have heard of, Although being dressed in black you may not have seen him... But then again, that's your problem. James Loves all things music taking dank inspiration from the Verve, Jesus and Mary Chain & My bloody Valentine with his Biere d'Or, he will play loud and embrace the rhubarb. Time for a Dank Wank! OWEN: With seventeen years of smacking his drums up Owen loves nothing more then to ride a wall of sound by any drums necessary. He can bosh a rhythm for any musical occasion, but with inspiration from Damien Rice and Radiohead, to him there is nothing better then a emotional raw steak of energy.
