Ricky Mier Biography
Ricky Mier, an award winning banjo player, composer and Alumni of Berklee College of Music fronts the group. Creator of The Ricktones, co-founder of Twisted Pine, Cat And The Moon and member of Hot Day At The Zoo, Mier has also performed with Bela Fleck and Victor Wooten. Mier is winner of the gold medal at the Freshgrass banjo contest and with his band Twisted Pine has won band contests at Freshgrass, Thomas Point Beach and Rocky Grass.
