About this concert
On August 19, Sydney pop/rockers Forever Ends Here released their highly anticipated debut album titled ‘Imagine This’. Fresh off the road from supporting Canadian band Simple Plan, Forever Ends Here will hit the road on their own headlining tour in January 2017.The four young 20-somethings from Sydney’s North Shore dropped the first teaser of their full length in February (2016) with the release of ‘Chapters’. In May (2016), the band released their second single, ‘Search The Night’, to fans without warning – the accompanying music video shot on Sydney’s famous Harbour.Since the band’s inception in 2011, Forever Ends Here – featuring Brothers Luke (Vocals / Guitar) and Kane McChesney (Drums), Mav Burnett (Bass) and Arran Barker (Guitar) – have matured musically since their 2013 release of the ‘From Where I’d Rather Be’ EP. Having garnered support slots with the likes of Simple Plan, Tonight Alive, Short Stack, Hands Like Houses and Neck Deep the band have amassed a solid fan base with four of their own headlining tours under their belt and over 17,000 Facebook likes. ‘Imagine This’ has been three years in the making. “We've really grasped the importance of doing what feels right to us,” Luke says. “We're writing songs that make us feel good and I think that's the most important thing you can do.”“The album feels much more cohesive, it feels more progressive and it’s a work that we are more proud of than anything we have released in the past,” says Kane.Fans swamped iTunes at the album’s release where it peaked at #7 on the overall iTunes Album chart and #2 on the iTunes Pop charts. Furthermore, the album had a healthy charting debuting in the top 100 in the ARIA Charts Albums chart – the only completely independent release that debuted in the top 100 for the week – #33 on the ARIA Digital Charts and #15 on the AIR Albums Charts. In the space of five short years, the four piece have amassed a following that rivals the local scene that’s flooded with aspiring pop-punk bands. Forever Ends Here have always maintained a reputation for their fun and energetic live shows, the the59thsound.com website describing their performance “without a single flaw”.“Forever Ends Here shows have always been about the energy and the vibe,” says Kane.“We spend so much time putting together new and exciting set lists and song arrangements,” adds Luke. “We do everything we can to make sure our have the best time”.‘Imagine This’ available now from iTunes, Spotify and physical packages are available from http://post.it/ImagineThis
