Bobby Hanzo

Bobby Hanzo, started writing in 2003, the days when Dizzee Rascal was standing up tall to accept his Mercury Music Prize. Being heavily inspired by, and taking ‘Underground Music’ in literal terms, Bobby started spending time writing to Hip Hop and Grime instrumentals he played loud in a dark and merky basement. He quickly developed a potent mix of energetic flows and head-scratching metaphors. Realising, the route of writing and being a musician was something he was destined for. He had spells studying music production at Manchester Midi School & Manchester Music Base. He would then go on to be a member of EDM group “EightyNineGeeks”, who rocked ravers numerous times at venues like DJ Magazines 2010 “Best Club In The World” Sankey’s Soaps, playing Just Skank events alongside regulars; Compa, Just Jack and cult loving Apes, Black Josh and Truthos Mufasa. He has also had his music featured on British Independent Film, “Brothers Day” working alongside cousin and fellow musician Reminiss.
