With a passion for music stemming deeply from his early hip-hop roots, Mixre entered the music scene in the East Coast of Canada at a young age. As a producer, rapper and long time DJ, he has had his hand in many projects over the course of his career. Evan Gillis (Mixre) is also the visionary behind Second World Collective (SWC). SWC is a electronic dance movement that was created with the intention of providing cutting edge music events, along with developing a brand to keep new ideas and culture flowing into the community. Mixre pushes the boundaries of electronic music through both promotion and production as a strong believer of diversity and creating without boundaries. While recently graduating from Icon Collective Music Production School based in California, Evan continues to focus his time towards music production and providing the city he loves with quality entertainment.
