The Dirty Bourbon Band Biography

Dirty Bourbon Band originated in the budding metropolis of Fort Scott Kansas. Does the name derive from the fact that Fort Scott is in Bourbon county or from the fact that we are aficionados of fine Tennessee whiskey? We will let you decide.
Around 2010 a few friends gathered for beers and jamming. After realizing the potential an idea emerged to form Dirty Bourbon Band. With the goal of sharing their appreciation for Red dirt and Texas country the friends moved forward on the idea. Rehearsals were scheduled, gigs were booked and writing sessions soon turned into the idea to release an EP of original tunes.
Fans gathered around the newly formed group and aided in supporting and funding the venture. Now with a line of merch, original material and a strong following the band continued to gain opportunity and momentum. Their adventures carried them across the map to destinations throughout a five state area in the Midwest. Dirty Bourbon has taken the stage with Jason Boland, Bart Crow, Stoney Larue, William Clark Green, Wade Bowen and bands of the like. The band has also headlined Rodeos, Festivals and many other events that have attracted new and loyal fans. The group forges forward sharing the love of their craft and country music. We're still just a group of friends who enjoy playing the music we love, when you see Dirty Bourbon Band you will be reminded that country is still very much alive and the energy is flowing like never before!
