Korby and Alex team up for this special performance of music of George Gershwin. Music of the Gershwins gained immense popularity during the first half of the 20th century. George Gershwin's musical compositions included the jazz influenced classical "Rhapsody in Blue", Broadway shows where he collaborated with his older brother, Ira, on such hits as "Porgy and Bess", and classical chamber music like his "Concerto in F".
Korby Myrick is a critically acclaimed, classically trained mezzo soprano specializing in opera, symphonic repertoire, art song, and oratorio.
