Choral Workshop led by David Pipe.
Singers of all ages and abilities who can read music are welcome to join us for what promises to be an enjoyable and rewarding day learning Mozart's Requiem. There will be an informal concert for friends and family at 4pm.
Timetable for the day:
 9.30 Registration and complimentary refreshments
10.00 Warm up and 1st session
11.15 Break
11.45 2nd session
1.00 Lunch break (bring a packed lunch, as our new venue is further from the city centre)
2.00 3rd session
3.30 Break
4.00 Performance
Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
Tea/coffee/squash and cake will be available for a small charge.
Water will be available all day.
We recommend you bring a packed lunch with you as Millthorpe School is a twenty minute walk from York City Centre. It is a ten minute walk from Bishopthorpe Road where there are local shops. There are also a few cafes but these get very busy on a Saturday lunchtime.
About the venue:
Millthorpe School is accessible on foot via both Nunthorpe Avenue (off Scarcroft Road), and Philadelphia Terrace (off Albermarle Road). The school is a five minute walk from Blossom Street which has bus stops for most major routes. There are Park and Ride Bus services operating in York. The school is approximately 1 mile from York Railway Station.
There is some parking available at Millthorpe School. If you are driving please enter via Philadelphia Terrace.     Do not enter the site by car via Nunthorpe Avenue.
