Oakland rock band Y&T formed in the early '70s and their frenzied hard-rock sound made them a major influence on acts ranging from Mötley Crüe to Metallica. They toured with Ozzy Osbourne, AC/DC, Aerosmith and many more rock legends. They released the amazingly titled "Facemelter" in 2010, their first new studio album in 13 years, and their back catalog features over ten more studio albums and several live recordings. Still led by lead singer and guitarist Dave Meniketti, they continue to rock the stage after 40 years. Ninth Circle and National Dust open the concert at the Rose in Pasadena.
