We begin with a short ride to the rural outskirts of Mumbai and the Govardhan Eco Village. Led by Gaura Vani’s guru Radhanath Swami, the GEV is a full-cycle, sustainable, eco-community and farm including animal sanctuary and a slaughter-free dairy. They grow their own rice; they even make their own bricks. Life in this bhakti village is a trip into another time. We’ll gather with the other villagers in morning and evening for Sanga, Kirtan and meditation along with Radhanath Swami, who is offering this rare focused time with our pilgrims during this week. The first section of our trip culminates in the annual flower festival in the heart of Mumbai. Two tons of flower petals are showered on Radha and Krishna and then on the dancing congregants. It’s a dreamlike atmosphere that you will never forget once you have tasted it.

We move on from Mumbai to royal Rajasthan and Krishna’s temple town of Nathdvara. We will enjoy excursions to gorgeous nearby outdoor scenic spots, forts, palaces, and temples, illumined with ongoing kirtan and satsang. Every day seems like a lifetime here. Take your bhakti bhav to the next level with intimate exploration of various kirtan styles and bhakti philosophy, including group and private instruction in various musical instruments of kirtan. Celebrate Vasant Panchami, the first day of the Holi season, with Shri Nathji, one of the most famous Krishna deities of India. Visit legendary lakes and palaces of Rajasthan, visit ancient Krishna and Shiva temples. Opportunities for some of the best shopping in India as well!

Kirtan, poetry, bhakti teachings, & guest speakers will be featured throughout the tour.
