Emerging home grown label Double Deer Records presents an experiential showcase of its notable Indonesian recording artists in collaboration with W Hotel Bali on the 26th August 2016. From 4 pm onwards, get immersed on an audiovisual journey into music, art and technology on the Island of the Gods. Double Deer Records are known for engaging electronic releases by Indonesian recording artists. Their first label showcasefeatures Kimokal, Artificial, Harvy, and CNTROL. This year's showcase also celebrates the release launch of their latest recording artist ARRIO, one of Indonesia's prolific electronic music producer's venture into a solo album. In conjunction with W Sound Suite Bali, Double Deer Records promises to pack a punch with combined lucid visual installations. We aim not to only introduce Indonesian electronic artists to a wider audience, but to dissolve a sense of separation between the audience and the artists.A roster you do not want to miss, Double Deer Records are very proud to introduce their bench of talent.

Kimokal Biography
Kimokal is the recording name of the duo, Kimo Rizky and Kallula Harsynta Esterlita conjoined.
Boldly staking out from a different depth of Indonesia’s music scene and transcends any notions of genre, drawing from psychedelic, nu-wave, dub, electronic, nu-disco, ballad and pop but refusing to be attributed to one particular tag whilst conveying an impressive collage of electronic textures simultaneously.
Although Kallula’s music and vocal background is rooted to pop, ballad and a touch of shoe gaze with a sense of self-possessed and nonchalant lyrics, Kimo’s influences can be pinpointed to the heights of the sixties and seventies eras.
Kimokal’s music is an evolving obsession of conjuring lucid spaces and voyages through a style, which is at times melancholy, propulsive and serene. At once versatile yet eminently listenable as vivid and recognisable as electronic pop.
