Originally spinning hard dance music, he was able to nail down basic skills and buy some real equipment. Through hundreds of bedroom mixes his style has dramatically changed over time. From harder and darker music, Andrew eventually moved to House and Electro, which was more prevalent in the local scene. Now, aiming for a more refined sound, he has set his main focus on Techno, inspired by artists such as Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, and Adam Beyer. Along with Techno, Andrew also works with Ahab (MalLabel, Simplify, Gravitas) under the name Cache Money, focusing originally on trap, and now heavier and darker tracks pulling influence from techno, industrial, electro, and other genres. He has received praise from numerous Dallas and Denton DJs, and played alongside many of them. He has played shows ranging from warehouse raves to downtown Dallas clubs such as Beauty Bar, Lizard Lounge, Sisu, as well as larger events at The Bomb Factory, Lights All Night, and Gas Monkey, to various venues in Austin such as Republic Live and Ethics (formerly Lanai). Also, Andrew performed at multiple SXSW showcases over the past few years including the Euphoria Music Festival Showcase, No Parents No Rules Showcase, and more

Alcohol Biography

Alcohol is a four member group that maneuvers within the margins of Rock music. They plunge into the waters of post-psychedelic, pop and punk aethetics and emerge upon the American 90’s music scene with grunge influences. Their music is characterized by alternating melodic parts and furious lyrical outbursts. Kostas Fanaras (drums) and Stathis Dofis ( vocals/guitar) began their common travel 5 years ago. The composition of the band changed various times until Michalis Stefanidis with his inspired guitar playing joined them and Remi Cavat completed the band with his talented bass playing. Together they sport a big number of live performances and an album in 2017, still being a trio band at that time. Their immediate plans include the recording of new music that will form their second album, as well as exposing themselves as often as possible through public performances . Alcohol are a way of expression, a natural antidepressant, a vehicle of everyday escape.
