On Saturday, August 20th, 7 Circles Productions is partnering with Every Element and The Bohemian Dub Orchestra to bring you The Solar Ball - a celebration of solar power, sustainable technology, community based arts, music, crafts, food and beverage. The Solar Ball is the third in a series of events focused around the 7 chakras, the theme of this event is the Solar Plexus and represents the power of the sun, harnessing that power to create energy and products, bringing our community together under the sun to celebrate sustainability, art, music, food, beverages and crafts. Musical guests include Medium Troy, Thriftworks, & Govinda, performing with members of the Bohemian Dub Orchestra and special guests Luke Mandala, Eastern Sunz and many other performers on multiple stages throughout the day.At noon, when the sun is at its apex, we gather at the Washington-Jefferson Park and continue until 6pm. Here, you will find a free all-ages event full of live music, workshops, non-profits and tech companies alongside community artisans selling their creations. The Solar Ball features many sustainable, including the stages at the park are powered by the sun’s rays and our own kinetic energy thanks to Pedal Power, EWEB, OCF and Apollo Farms. Starting at 3 pm, the Apollo Stage directly across Jefferson St from the Park will open. This portion of the event is also free, open to all ages and features live music and local food, beverage, health and clothing as well as 21+ Beer garden and more live music from the community, workshops and vendors. Help us celebrate sustainability and community together!From 9pm-4am we are also hosting a moonlight after-party late nite featuring Medium Troy, Thriftworks, & Govinda performing with The Bohemian Dub Orchestra and a special closing set by Luke Mandala all amplified on One Wub Sound and illuminated by Light At Play at the Eugene Wine Cellars. This event will be 21+ and we will be selling tickets online and at special locations in Eugene as well as at the door for a day of the event price. At the Wine Cellar you will find live art, vendors, space to play with your fire and flow toys, Indoor and outdoor space, lounge area, dance floor, beer and wine garden as well as non alcoholic drinks such as homemade soda and Kombucha, even more locals selling art and crafts and body work and of course fantastic live musical acts from local and touring musicians.Seek the sun and fan the flame!
