Percussor is JACK CARMICHAEL - Guitar/Vocals (Ex Afterbirth 91-94, Ex Lesch-Nyhan 13-14) BOB HODGINS - Drums (Immaculate Deception ,Tyrants Hand , Human Repugnance ) CHRIS MILLER - Bass/Backing Vocs (Ex Afterbirth 90-94 , Ex Crucifier 91, Ex Lesch-Nyhan 12-14) Former Drummer - MARK STAINTHORPE (14-17) recorded on the 1rst 3 albums. The 2014 to present version of Percussor came to be out of a former band all 3 members were in from 13-14. A decision was made at end of 2014 by Jack , Mark and Chris to move forward musically. The Percussor name was a name that Jack and Chris had after the demise of AfterBirth in 1994 but was never able to find the rest of the pieces for to really get anything off the ground through the 90's . The name was decided to be resurrected with Jack taking over vocals and cut down to a 3 piece. A release was being worked on at the time of the split in 2014 a 9 song release with all the music being done by the core of the band. With a rewrite of all the lyrics we were able to finish up the recording in no time which was released in Dec. 2014 entitled " Proclamation of Hate " on CD and digital format through Horror,Pain,Death,Gore Productions on April , 21st 2015. A follow up to the first album was recorded in Nov. 2015. A 9 song release called " Disturbing Reality " with a bonus AfterBirth song called "Murdered " also released on Horror,Pain,Gore, Death Productions on Feb. 25th 2016 on Cd and digital format once again. Our 3rd album a 9 song titled "Remnants of Horror" was recorded early in 2017 at Beacon Soundworks in Ny with Mike Usifer (Prime Evil) at the head of the recording and with a new label " Lost Apparitions Records " it was released in Oct. 2017 . Also in Oct. 2017 a three song 7" titled " Staring into the Abyss" was released independently by the band featuring 2 songs off "Remnants of Horror" and a rerecording of the song " Diseased Breeder " off our 1rst album that was limited to 100 copies. A change was made in the lineup at drums with Bob Hodgins stepping in June of 2017 after Mark Stainthorpe decided to step down after 3 years to pursue other interests. The new lineup started playing shows in August of 2017 and will be going into Beacon Soundworks once again at the end of March 2018 to record a 3 song 7" with 2 new songs and 1 rerecording of a song off the 1rst album with new drummer Bob Hodgins before getting all new material for the next album .
